Matt's animation presentation: Updated

heres a link to my presentation, the other wouldn't pause :[

Here I have my animation presentation up for people to look at a head of time. I don't want to bore anyone one with tech stuff so I made it as general as possible.

and yes that is the music the short will use :)

Empressive.

You do not supply references and assume everybody if familiar with a certain McGee. Found references on the web, apparently there is a video game called "Alice".

Are you aware that Jan Svankmajer also created a version of Alice? It is high on my list for must see, still did not get to it...

One direct comment on the text of the slides: "he will dictate the last man he saw die" - the dead person is writing down the monologue this deranged hatter is spewing out?

I am curious what the text of the monologue is like. Must be pretty strong to hold up for three minutes!

As far as the music is concerned: using copyrighted works is fine for a class project but does rule out the animations participation in most festivals.

its not copyrighted, I know the rights, its royalty free. I'll have a rough copy in class monday. I'll adjust the references for McGee, so that everyone will be aware of such.

and no, the hatter is speaking about the last man he witnessed die. and its strong enough for me :)

After commenting kind of early this morning I also realized that from your presentation there is no telling what we will actually see: all one shot? Camera moves? Scenery?

very true, long holding shots in the beginning, getting more choppy as the short progresses.
