This blog contains the digital workbooks of students at Montclair State University. In fall, it was dedicated to "ARIL-360: Motion, Light, Texture, Mapping", and in spring to "ARIL-421: Advanced Animation and Illustartion Arts".
I have since moved on to Monmouth University, where my students post to this blog

Thanks for sharing this!
Early morning? The blinds you added do give it some extra suspense.
I assume the noise in the image is due to this being a test with low anti-aliasing, right?
I wish we could just draw on the image to annotate it with comments.
There seems to be a strong bounce light on the cabinets but the floor (where the light would be bouncing off of) is very dark.
Light coming from the left side of the image lights the bottle, the left chair and the edge of the table. It is too strong for a bounce light, I cannot quite figure out its motivation.
Hey Jen,
I remember you telling me about your Miller inspiration. I think you hit the nail on the head. Very consistent with what I've seen you put out in other media.
LOVE the blinds. I don't think the mood would be the same without them. The slant is also nice, gives more edge.
I do wish you did do multiple passes. It would sleeken (<-word?)
up your edges.
Great stuff. If I knew more I would say, but I guess I'll leave that to Wobbe. :)
