Hi! So I don't have much to post as of yet buttt...I remember in class one of the Team Fortress videos being shown to us (maybe in 3D modeling? ) and I thought it would be nice if there was a link to the rest of them in case anyone was interested:

It's basically an online game put out by Valve Corporation (for those of you that don't know) and for a while they've been putting up "meet the characters" intro shorts for each of the different characters you can choose to play as in the game.

About a few months ago they just finished putting up the last one so they're all there and I recommend people go check it out even if you don't know much about the game. Valve has a great sense of humor that shows in their animations and I just love how progressively better they get in their story-telling and ideas overtime. (from the sniper and scout to later on the spy, medic, and pyro)

I was baby sitting recently, and watched a ton of kids TV-- and I thought these commercials were an awesome application of 3D animation. Also, i love gushers.

Brothers Quay - Student Animations

If you need inspiration, go visit the Brothers Quay exhibition at the MoMa. Great decors are on display, showing how you can use a small space to create a big world.
