My Nightmare

Working on it as much as I can, I'm hoping to get it lit today which is the last thing I need, it's all textured and all. So I'm just hoping that the lab is open today so I can get most if not all of it done, here's work in progress. God forbid I show texture now, Maya will crash on me, there is SO MUCH STUFF in this scene, so much texture, so much polygons, and.. there will probably be a lot of lights and effects if things go well. This still needs a LOT of work for my senior thesis scene ... well it's one of the scenes for my senior thesis. Still need more plants. Wish me Luck! ;__;

Brian Kapp Final Animation Update

Hey Guys,

Just a little update on my final animation and scene set up for class. Having some difficulty setting up a few things with the octopus so i still dont have the animation for that yet but as you can see I do have the smooth bind with a IKspline with clusters to give it the "tentacley" feel, same as the eel! I decided to two tone toon shade my final but there is a little trouble with toon outliner and mental ray I believe - but i will find out in class tomorrow. I expect myself to be pushing it to the very last minute, which is never good but all in all I finally am enjoying working on it and like the over all look of my entire project.

Another Tiny

Saw this on Cartoon Brew. Another stop motion animation with small, intricate pieces. A senior student film from Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design in Budapest.
