Played with Maya Muscles a bit. IF you build a complete muscle system, you can get nice results. It is not compatible with regular smooth skins, setting it up can be quite involved. And just in case you missed the jiggle in the first jump I set it to be really jiggly for the second one.

What are you guys up to?
I know you (the current ARIL 421 students) will be presenting your plans this Wednesday, but any chance of a sneak peak?

L.A. Noire Tech demo
After beating recently Heavy Rain I've been curious about facial animations. L.A. Noire, an upcoming game from Rockstar (the GTA folks) is doing some swell things in that regard. It's almost creepy.
Fractal Sphere
This is the Animation I showed in ARIL 421 yesterday. For those interested: Mr. (or Ms.) subBlue from Glasgow, UK, has more videos posted

The Birds
I had seen this one before, as it was shown in the SIGGRAPH 2010 Electronic Theater. Drawn! just posted the link to the Vimeo version:
So, how much of it do you think was done in 3D?

"The Girl and The Fox"
Hey everyone, Drew here. I hope your holidays were wonderful. Just stopping by to deliver some news from the south. Below is a link to one of my favorite student films from SCADanimate, a festival that showcases animations by SCAD students.
The name of the film is "The Girl and the Fox" directed by Tyler J. Kupferer, also the creator of film "Duck Heart Teslacoil." The latter is already out, and the first will make its arrival come next summer. Til then, enjoy this trailer!
